Instructions for authors
Important Note to Authors
Authors can see the session name, time and date of their presentation in EDAS system. Please bring your presentation as a PowerPoint file in a USB drive. All presentation rooms are equipped with computers, podiums and projectors. Please introduce yourself to the Session Chair before the session starts. All presentations will be in in the main and lower levels of the ENG building (245 Church Street, Toronto). Room numbers are posted under the Program tab.
Prospective authors are invited to consult the Call for Papers and to submit original contributions (standard two-column IEEE format, up to six pages) to EDAS. Please choose the appropriate track for your paper.
All manuscripts should be written in English or French with a maximum paper length of six (6) printed pages (minimum 10-point font, in two-column format) including figures, without incurring additional overlength page charges. Two additional overlength pages (maximum paper length 8 pages) are allowed with a charge of CAD$50 per page, if accepted. Please note that you may not reduce the length of a paper submitted for review after it is accepted. Papers exceeding 8 pages will not be accepted at EDAS.
IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats can be found HERE. Alternatively you can follow the sample instructions in this template.
Note that this format requires:
- Authors' affiliation centered under authors' name and title, not in a footnote
- No authors bios nor pictures
- No index terms nor keywords
- In LaTex, the use of the \documentclass[conference]{IEEEtran} command
Your submitted PDF file and the author, title, and abstract of the registered EDAS paper must match. The author(s) must be listed in the same order and the title must match. There may be only minor wording differences in the abstract. Papers where the PDF and registerded EDAS paper do not match will be withdrawn by the Technical Program Chair or Track Co-Chairs.
